Ordered a frame for my master's degree diploma = $109.99
Car Payment = $500.00
Cellphone Bill = $40
Water bill =$20
Visa credit card bill = $90
Student Loan Payment = $500
American Express Bill (and vacation expenses in there!) = $1100
cable and internet = $110

whew.. and i am thinking to myself.. how am i going to afford a mortgage and etc..

Pay off the student loan & car as quickly as possible. Those monthly payments, plus your rent, are about what a mortgage would cost you. Plus, the interest on those loans is probably a killer.

If you have some extra money in the bank, zap some of those balances. Now's the time to do it, before you have the mortgage.

actually my minimum student loan payment is only like $150 but after seeing about $500 in interest for the 2006 year and not being able to deduct that from my taxes, I'm ready to try and get it paid off quick!! I've got a few years though.

If my rent wasn't ridiculous, maybe I'd stay renting and make a downpayment on my loads/car, but I'm going to use that $$ towards a house or moving. I just signed a 6 month lease today for $920. They property manager said he literally fought to get my amount down from like $1000, and the owners are adamant that they think market conditions dictate that price.
