so i've been borrowing my dad's cell phone for a while until he gets me a new cell phone. and i've been getting mystery calls, at least one a day. i've never been around to answer them until this morning. now my dad doesn't give out his cell phone number to anybody, and i believe that. i am thinking that he might have gotten a "recycled" phone number. so here goes my phone conversation this morning:

Me: Hello
Guy: Is this the female escorting service?
Me: No You have the wrong number..
Guy: Oh I was really looking for a date Saturday night.
Me: Soo-rrrrrry! I hang up.

last night was one of the worst nights of sleep that i've had, because of the nightmares.

the primary nightmare was that i was kidnapped by an ugly millionare computer geek and was forced to be his mistress. i tried running away back home to be with my dad but his gang came after me and chased me. i woke up from this dream. ok now, the real nightmare was this morning during breakfast. there was a guy who just about looked like the guy in my nightmare sitting at a table not far staring at our table. i was freaked out, i've never seen this guy before.

I'm currently at the student union computer lab blissfully enjoying my time on the internet because i've been deprived recently. yep, i'm having computer issues. my computer decided to almost completely die on me last night. i couldn't get it to load dos. i let it cool down, let all the circuits discharge, and after multiple attempts i was barely able to load my windows 98. so i finally got it to load, and it was sloooow. so so slow that i couldn't run internet explorer. so i had to clean it out. in fact i am still cleaning it out.

i first removed a lot of programs that i no longer use. i then did a virus scan with my norton utilities and then i ran scan disk, however, the scan disk program has been running since about 1 am this morning, and it is now 2/3'rds the way complete because my hard drive is so big and must have errors. after i complete the scan disk, i will have to run my disk defragmenter. that will take about 2-3 hours.

in nicer news i've been having a wonderful day. i had my only class for today cancelled. also, i had about 8-9 hours of sleep. my dorm room is completely clean and stocked. i vacuumed the carpet floor with my own vacuum cleaner, i even got the small hard-to-reach spots with my vacuum stick. i love cleaning. i wiped down my counters. i sprayed poppuri on the carpet and all over the room, it smells like a rose garden inside my dorm room, well at least it did. i had a wonderful breakfast, my favorite food, malt-o-meal. i am having a very satisifying diet coke right now. i took a long refreshing shower this morning. i did my laundry, 4 loads of it, i cleaned my bed sheets too. my sheleves have been neatly reorganized, my books and folders put away. i played my play station game DarkCloud, but didn't advance to the next level, i got defeated.

Tonight I will drive again to see my dad's bowling game and hopefully my uncle ed will be there this time too, because I am bringing my four packs of photos from new orleans and other places to show to my dad and to my uncle. They'll just love them! Heck, maybe dad got me the new cellphone too. Then after the ame we'll go out for dinner as usual, I'll get back to the dorm and proceed to have a reality check.

I've got dynamics homework to do, my controls system homework to do, and studying for a probability quiz tomorrow.

From 3-4 pm I'll be attending a meeting for the college bowl team that I'm on. We got to practice. I haven't a clue on how this college bowl tournament works yet. Thank goodness [Unknown LJ tag] is leading our team.

speaking of leading, i spent about an hour and half today leading senior design stuff. i carefully inspected the schedules that I had everyone fill in their available times to meet, then I had to figure out who can meet when, and which times are best. I think I came up with a good meeting time schedule for everyone. We'll see if I get any complaints via e-mail soon. I spent so much time carefully typing up my e-mail. It's important to communicate correctly, so I can get my message clearly across without any possible offense or misunderstandings. We have to meet as a group this Sunday and Monday night to make a Gantt Chart, which shows our project work and the time line. We have to use Microsoft Project, and I have very little clue on to work that program. We have till about February 11th to get a good portion of our robot working, and the entire project must be finished and working perfectly by March 25th. Plus we have to do so much work in between for the project. I'm planning on presenting our project in research fairs that were listed on our class sheet.

I have so much to talk about!!!!!!!!!!!

only 4 more days until my birthday, my b-day is sunday the 19th. ohh! i almost forgot, i have a 3-day weekend too!!! awesome!!!!!

my birthday present from roseprofessor came in the mail yesterday night. I was very delighted when I got the car of my dreams, however, minature size! That would be so cool if life-sized car like this was shipped here. hehe! I found a good spot to place the car so i'll be easily distracted from my homework by playing with the car. i added a frog chauffer too.!
