so let me tell you about my failures, yes that is a plural, in cooking dinner tonight.
I started at 2:30 with the porkchops, they didn't look too appeasing, but uncooked meat rarely does. so i open up my shake and bake box, which has a weird smell to the coating mix. I ended up just making the boneless porkchops anyways, taking time to cut off most of the fat. so they come out of the oven, and like all great chiefs, i do the taste chef. it tastes so bad that i have to spit it out. so all the porkcops went in the garbage.
Then I tried chicken. I took the chicken out of the freezer. about a week ago, I left it in the fridge to unfreeze, but I did not end up cooking it, so i put them back in the freezer. well, the nastiest smell came out of the bag after I microwaved the chicken again to unfreeze! That went into the garbage, and I wanted to cry from frustrations, exhaustion, and failure!!!!
So I ended up just going to KFC and buying chicken for dinner. ;( $25 should be enough for dinner for two and a few days!

My friend Amy,
justphoenix helped me with my taxes. Everything is now filled out even with the envelopes addressed and stamped. All I need to do is bring them to work and make a copy and then mail them out! I should get around $2700 back from the Federal and $140 from state!
;)
Thanks Amy!
