thankfulness, grace, happiness, joy
Try this, it's fun.
This is based on U.S. & CDN info, so use both sides of
your brain. This can
be more difficult than it looks - it just shows how
little most of us really
see! There are 27 questions about things we see every
day or have known
about all our lives.

How many can you get right? These little simple
questions are harder than
you think--it just shows you how little we pay
attention to the commonplace
things of life. Put your thinking caps on. No
cheating! No looking around!
No getting out of your chair! No using anything on or
in your desk or
computer! Can you beat 13?? (The average is 7) Write
down your answers and
check answers (on the bottom) AFTER completing all the
questions. REMEMBER -
NO CHEATING!!!

Then, before you pass this on to your friends, change
the number on the
subject line to show many you got correct. Forward to
your friends and also
back to the one who sent it to you.

LET'S JUST SEE HOW OBSERVANT YOU REALLY ARE. Here we
go!

1. On a standard traffic light, is the green on the

my insane life

  • Mar. 9th, 2004 at 11:00 PM
cram, study, evil genius
my life has been growing ever more stranger, interesting, and dead. I'll explain this.

My mind kind of wanders and thinks crazy, insane thoughts because living alone has really started to bring me down. I'm still depressed still and still haven't taken my medicine. it's like the effort it not there. i see the bottle, yet, i don't take the pills. but tonight i will, i hope. and tomorrow i will take a vitamin, and eat healthy, work out, and finish all my homework.

i feel so alone.

today on my drive to school I popped in a cassette tape that talked about our emotional intelligence.
think back to your childhood. .......
If you were put into a room and given two choices. you could have one cookie now or if you waited a little while until your mom came back from the other room, you could have two cookies. The single cookie lay on a plate. You're all alone, and 15 minutes seems like infinity. Do you cave, and eat the cookie? Or do you wait, wait knowing that sometime soon (you hope) that your mom will revisit you with another cookie?
Well, this test measured delayed gratification. They followed up on the kids later in life, and found the ones who were patient and waited, scored higher on their SAT's and did better in school and life.
Well, thinking back on my childhood, I would have probably eaten the cookie and tried to get the heck out of the room. I'm compulsive, and want to quench my desires as soon as I get them, and not linger in that feeling of disatisfaction, thoughts lingering in my mind, sleeping relentlessly...
So I guess I'm a loser then, eh?
BTW, that cassette is now stuck in my car stereo, and I must

One good piece of advice that my mother passed on to me is that there will always be people better than you. Don't try too hard to rise above others, because you've got a limit to your mountain peak of sucess and talents. Don't be bothered by people smarter, prettier, and richer than you are.

Anyways, I oughta get some sleep, because I'm sick again.

I have this sore throat from hell. And I know that fevers and illnesses usually follow. I'll see how I feel in the morning, maybe I'll take off sick.
