The past few days have just been remarkable. I so love my life right now. Each day is an adventure, whether it is at work, home, school, and social, I am never bored because I'm always busy, always chellenged, and if not, I make myself busy and challenged. I would go crazy without intellectual stimulus and without work.

Wednesday night I spent doing my controls homework until Midnight. I'm glad that I finished it the night before the class and did not scramble to finish it before class.

Thursday morning I was up at 6 am to be at work by 6:30 am so that I could leave at 3pm. I left at 3pm and got stuck in traffic. 8 times out of 10 I-290 at 3pm going into the city near manheim road area is OK. Thursday, the trafffic was NOT OK. Yeah, there was an accident. I had my camera and had to take a picture of all the congestion:

So I was a zombie during class. Before class, I had about 45 minutes of free time. I stopped in the book store and bought an IIT t-shirt. I had my diet-coke from the 7-11 in the campus student center. I did some studying and planning.

After class, I drove down 31st street and tried to get on Ashland Ave, but I was unfamilar with the area. 31st ended just before Ashland and I hit Archer avenue. So I turned right on Archer anvenue, did a u turn, turned on Ashland, drove a bit, and the bridge was out. road closed! so i drove all the way back to halstead st, through ghetto area, and parked in a ghetto area, but it was free. And a black guy just had to take advantage of the fact that there was a single white lady walking alone in the neighborhood. He started to approach me and ask "Do you have insurance?" I walked past without giving him a thought and shouted NO in a tone that meant really, FUCK OFF, and he said OK!!!!! and walked away. Free parking to see the black hawks game was good.

I went to my first hocky game with my coworkers. I just want to add, from the second photo, the company that I work for, Exelon, is one of the corporate sponsers for the Black Hawks. I felt pretty proud to be working for a company with their name advertised in nice places ;) I have photos here! )
