my today

geek, smart, geeky girl
I'm at the IIT lab giving my break from studying.

If you would like to know what I'm studying its called operations research but with all the heavy mathematics.

Tonight I have my mid-term. It's open books, open notes. I did not do as much studying as I should have. Shame, shame on me.

This morning I had a really bad day at work. Papers, mailing tubes, and rubber bands were flying out of my hands and the large plotter kept crashing on me which really tried my patience. Grrr.

Right now I have a laissez-faire atttitude. Whatever. If I get an A, that's great but impossible, if I get a B, that's good and possible, if I get a C, that's fine and probable.

One thing that I've learned throughout my years of college is that it's not necessary how much you study but how you enter the test and in what frame of mind. A student should have a lot of sleep and good meals throughout the day to keep the sugars flowing to feed the brain. Concentration needs to be achieved with a sense of calmness, relaxtion, and positive outlook on it.

And it's always good to remember that tests aren't the only things in life.

Yep. :)
