About Joe

thankfulness, grace, happiness, joy
I just wanted to say all your responses to my last post have given both of us a lot to consider in taking the next step and "living together". After talking with him (Joe) a second time, I personally feel better, and I don't think I am alone.., in our discussions regarding the pets, and we have bot concurred that it is a non-negotiable subject. I now understand his initial point of view and where he got it. He has had bad experience with roommates in college and their pets. Also both his parents had a cat and I think it wasn't the best pet for him growing up from what I interpreted. Both his parents ended up giving away? the cat. It is my hope that his next will be a good experience. We *plan* on getting at least a 3-bedroom apartment and Joe's room will be off-limits to the pets (if he remembers to close his door! :0 ). I will have to be a little more attentive in brushing the cats, I admit that, however the one white kitty, his shedding is a problem and it is is going to be impossible to keep the white hair off everything.

I suggested that he both draft up a list of needs/wants for what we look for in an apatment and living situation so that we can better understand and prepare for it..

Thanks for all your good advice!
