Peter Pan

Tonight I watched a DVD that I own: Peter Pan (2003).

I feel in love with the youthful character of Peter Pan played by Jeremy Sumpter and hope to see more of him in future films.

His smile is incredible!

Peter Pan is one of my favorite adventure stories and when I was a child I would have dreams at night of flying and fighting pirates and being Peter Pan in Neverland. My favorite dreams were flying in the clouds and conquering the land. I think the director did a beautiful piece of work in this film.

I have to laugh at this:

On how his life (Jeremy Sumpter) has been after Peter Pan (2003): "It's awesome. I get recognized a lot by girls now. It's great. I was wanting that for a long time and now I finally have it; and it's great....It's different hearing girls I don't even know scream my name."

But I still think Daniel Radcliffe's description of a female fan who was naked in a towel in his bedroom was funnier yet.

Interviewer: What is the most ridiculous thing a fan has ever said to you?

Dan: Well I've had proposals of marriage. I hand one, which was bizarre. It was terrifying.

Emma: It was "Dan, marry me."

Dan: Yeah. It was the weirdest one. It was this big sign. And the other one was the towel girl.

Emma: Oh, god.

Interviewer: The towel girl?

Dan: The towel girl. She's a legend.

Interviewer: And what did the towel girl do?

Dan: We were filming-I was doing MTV in New York. And it was freezing cold out. It's not like it was a warm summer's day. It was so cold. And I got up there, and they took me over to the window, and there was a girl standing there wearing nothing but a Harry Potter towel, with a sign that said-It doesn't get much better than this!

Interviewer: That's so flattering.

Dan: With a sign that says, "Nothing comes between me and Harry Potter." It was great.

Shrunken Head: I bet it was. (Laughter)

Dan: It was! Yeah.
