After I handed in my badge and left work, I drove to Wheaton to get my car cleaned on the inside. Plus they did a basic exterior wash. This took about 3 hours. I walked around Wheaton Rice Square to spend my afternoon.
I went to Red Robin for lunch. I've always seen this place and haven't tried it. I decided today would be the day to try it.
I have never, ever eaten a bigger burger. I could only eat 3/4's of this. Well, maybe a little less. The point is, I came in hungry, and I do not know how ordinary people, other than pig-out artists, can complete their burgers!
Actually, I first had them re-do my bacon burger because I asked for medium and they made it rare. After that is was pretty good. But I will say that sirlon burgers char-broiled are the best burgers ever. Those you will only get at like barbecues.
After lunch I walked to my bank and got lots of $$ out.
I then walked back to the shopping square and went into Talbot's and got some new work clothes. They're really cute.
I then walked around the square and into a shoe store there. I found a pair of really nice and comfortable shoes.
After walking around some stoes, answering a whole lot of phone calls from my movers, I ended up at StarBucks and had a hot chocolate. Their cofee actually makes me sick, later. I relaxed and read about the NIU shooting and then got the phone call saying my car was done.
Walked back to the car wash place and picked up my car. Thanks to Joe for getting me that gift card for my birthday gift (after I bitched about not getting a card nor present)... that makes it all good.
I HAVE TO PACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So for those who don't know it, I am moving to Carmel, IN and starting a new job, new apartment, and new better (I hope) life.
There are some important milestones that are coming up in my life.
Friday is my last day at work for Exelon.
Saturday I am driving to Carmel, IN to sign the lease on the new apartment and start getting it setup somewhat, shopping for new furniture, etc..
Monday the movers come. they are doing a full-service move. My dad is driving up to help with the apartment. We shall see what they refuse to pack (note: I have to somehow segregate my apartment by items that need to stay and items I need to pack myself)
Sometime during next week the movers are going to deliver my stuff, unpack it out of the boxes (not put away), the new furniture will arrive, the utilities will be connected, and I will be a fish out of water looking at all my crap!
The following Saturday I will have to drive back up to Glendale Heights, IL and finish up business with my old apartment, and pack the cats up to go to their new home.
The following monday (25th) I start work in my new job.
To keep myself organized, time management, prepared, etc I have creative multiple To-Do lists. In short the to-do list is like over 100 items long. I have sub-divided these into daily to-do lists. And I am also writing nightly to-do lists. It's because I have a lot to-do! For example, a big item on my to-do list was the car maintenance. I am happy to report that item has been completed. I spent about 3 hours in the toyota shop but it is done.
