Did some unpacking.

Moved my stereo from my office to my living room. I've got space under a kitchen counter that is open to my living room. I took a bookshelf and modified it as a storage/display shelf for my living room. I placed my stereo on top, speakers in each corner. It looks COOL. Got to take some photos sometime. I'm wanting to finish the rest of the apartment before I take photos but probably won't

Hopefully my stereo now won't wake up my neighbor

It's Thursday and I am wishing it were Friday.

I miss Joe. He did so much for me this past weekend when he visited. He helped me get motivated to unpack and assemble quite a few things. He's such a good guy and I feel awful for leaving him in Aurora. But I feel awesome with this great apartment and career opportunity. I don't know how long all this will last or how life will turn out 1 year, 5 yrs from now but I hope I'm alive. healthy, and happy. There are going to be sometimes that I feel lonely.

I'm going to orientation for a church in a few weeks. I hope this works out for me and I meet some nice people and a community to worship with.

Tonight I assembled my CD/cassette stereo set. The volume was set on medium but I think because of the speakers and location near the window it disturbed my neighbor and she knocked on my door to politely ask me to turn it down. I am going to have to find a new location for the stereo because I was not blasting it. Sound can travel down the window area, and it was at a corner area of the wall.

My new office is starting to turn out ok. I'm still unpacking it...
