I made an official e-mail inquiry/complaint to the glendale heights police department regading the cop following me for 8-10 minutes. I have no criminal records and don't think this is fair to follow citizens like this.

So I had just gotten out of the car wash at the gas station near my apartment and got into the left turning lane on schmale when I remembered I needed to be going right on shcmale to make it to the atm and then for some chinese.
I stayed in my lane and while waiting for the light to change I noticed a sherrif cop car behind me. I didn't care too much. I don't have anything to hide.
Well I made my turn and since I'm going the wrong direction, I look a place to turn around. I get into the left turning lane at the next stop light and guess who decided to follow me... I was doing perfect legal driving..
The arrow turns green and I make the turn. I laugh my ass off because what I did next. Almost immediately after the turn there is another left turning lane into a bank parking lot and I make a U-turn so that I can turn around and go the opposite way on Schamale. I'm waiting at the traffic light now to turn right when I see that cop car make a quick U-turn after me. He must have thought I was avoiding him. I imagined the lights going off.. but they didn't. I looked very carefully for a no-turn on red sign and didn't see any. I went ahead and went, and guess who followed?
I'm thinking... well its going to be anytime now... that the lights will go off and I'm practicing my speech to the office asking him what I did that was "illegal" since I knew I didn't disobey any traffic laws.
He ended up turning off at another parking lot.
Nah nah nah!!! Didn't find anything illegal on my computer record did we? From the amount of time he followed me, his computer download must be incredibley slow!!
That's another reason of why I dislike cops. There is no checks and balances on them either. They can plant drugs on you or in your house and how can you legally defend yourself against a judge against that?

It was dark out when I was on Roselle Rd in Hoffman Estates. I was in the right-most turning lane waiting for the green arrow to go to the Marathon gas station. Gas is $2.45 a gallon. I notice a small compact red car in the left-most turning lane right next to mine. It catches my attention because I notice movement in the back seat and for a moment I thought I saw a dog, but there were 3 teenagers in the back seat and one in the front seat, one in the driver's seat of course.
I look the other way as to not draw attention and contine waiting for the light. I hear laughing to my left and notice a teenage boy walking then running to the vehicle. Apparently he had gotten out and as a practical joke amongst his friends, they speed up to pretend like they were leaving him.
Light is still red.
Then I watch their car inch up a bit as if the light had turned. My reaction was to inch up a bit until I verified with the arrow still being red.
Red arrows mean you can't go.
They inched up again and after the opposing turning lanes were givin a green arrow there appeared to be two lanes of cars turning. A few in both lanes had turned when the red compact car made a dash to turn against this traffic.
They were going to get creamed and would have if I didn't HONK so loudly to make them stop. The cars in the opposing lane narrowly avoided this car an it blocked most of the intersection.
After the cars were gone, it went ahead fastly and probably didn't think that they could have died.
Maybe I saved some lives today, maybe I didn't..
