I'm at home.
Right now... I feel empty.. without purpose.
I wrote down some goals at work for my weekend plans. They're currently in my car with a bunch of other stuff that I need to clean out because I was too lazy to do that yet.
I think I just need to sleep in tomorrow, take a shower, do some reading, and cleaning, and unpacking. I am cleaning and re-organizing the stuff I already have in the apartment.. avoiding the stuff I need to unpack.
My fitness stuff... is in the boxes. I can still play DDR but I feel so incredibly lazy right now. What is wrong with me? *Yawn* I gained a few pounds that I had lost. This has got to change.

Woke up sometime around 7:30 am. Had a bowl of banana nut crunch cereal, it was delicious.

This is my favorite cereal. I like to eat this more than honey nut cheerios, but unforunately the cereal only comes in such a small box and I finish this like in 3 servings :( I really need to have smaller amounts of cereal in the morning I guess this should probably last like 5 days of breakfast?..
Checked out the illinois dmv website to check on the address of the department of motor vehicles location in Lombard and the hours for Saturday. I didn't realize they opened at 8am and it was already like 8:05am when I was surfing the internet and site. I hurried up and got all my things together: birth certificate, passport, nicor (gas) bill, social security card, and drivers license.
I took north avenue to westmore and there was a hell of a lot of road construction! I ended up having to take a detour somewhere on st. charles cause I didn't realize westmore/meyere's rd didn't go all the way through and across the metra tracks. I think I passed through parts of lombard and villa park and was sad to see a lot of it looked very run down and 50's era. There were a lot of apartments and residences near the train tracks and I thought that must suck badly to live there. I grew up near train tracks in indiana and don't want to do that again if I don't have to.
I get to the dmv in the eastgate shopping center and the parking lot is packed. I get there like at 9:15.. and the line has 30 people waiting out the door. I'm like.. yeah.. this is what you will get for coming to do your business on a saturday! So I get in line and I'm standing there for about 10 minutes and it's a but chilly. It's like waiting in line to get on a rollar coaster. The line moved for about 10 people and then stopped. I finally got to the front fo the line and was happy to finally get to go inside the building and wait in the line .. inside the building. While waiting in line I took out all my identification to make my process fast. I took like 10 seconds to process whereas some people took like 3 minutes! so I got processed through the information booth and was assigned a number. Mine was B196. Then we get directed to sit in the applicant waiting area until our number is called at one of the booths.
There were about 12? booths at the main counter and I am really impressed on how they have it set up to flash and announce your number when you are next in the queue. I just had to do a renewal and I think I waited about 30 minutes for my number to be called. There were SO many people and I started to suffer panic disorder and anxiety. I forced myself to think happy thoughts about my kitties. This morning I had played with them with a new cat teaser and dana, my grey tabby, was very playful. They finally got to my number and I go up to the booth. I have all my documents ready and the old fart gives me a visual inspection. I'm looking kind of withdrawn and he mentioned I should smile. I then say i don't like crowds. He tells me he doesn't like people either and we then understood each other. I took about 1 minute in his booth. why do people take 5 minutes or more?! I then went to the cashier and paid for my license renewal. then I had to get in line for the written/vision test. I took my vision test and passed. I took about 1 minutes there. I then had to get my picture retaken in the other area. My photo looked like I was just so *thrilled* and my face looks so fat than my last photo, like what the hell happened to me in these 4 years?!!! :(
I glad as hell to get done with that! I drove home.
What else did I do today? watched a lot of my DVR movies that I recorded, took a long scary nap with an out-of-body experience, and played some DDR!
